A Grandma's Heart
A Grandma's heart is filled with Love
and Gratitude to God above.
She thanks The Lord for her Family Tree
and all the blessings she can see.

A Legacy of Love
A wife, a mother, a grandma Too
this is the legacy we have from you.
You taught us to love and how to fight
you gave us strength, you gave us might.
A stronger person would be hard to find
and in your heart, you were always kind.
You fought for us in one way and another
not just as a wife, not just as a mother.
For all of us you gave your best
now it's time for you to rest.
So go in peace, you've earned your sleep
your love in our hearts we'll eternally keep.

A Love Like No Other(Grandad and Grandchild)
(Grandad and Grandchild)
From the time I was born
I guess you would know
Ten perfect fingers
Ten little toes
When you first put your finger in my tiny hand that’s when I first knew
You were my papa no one else would do
As I grow older
and reach for the sky
My Papa is still there
to keep that twinkle in my eye
When I need someone to hold me
you never say I’m too big
You pick me up and squeeze me
and whisper you’re my little kid
Most other people don’t understand me
or maybe just not as well
That’s why you’re the one I run to
when I have something to tell
I love you Papa
as you can see
I’m so glad
that you’re a part of me.

A Very Special Grandma
My Grandma's hands could heal my hurt
or cool my fevered brow.
Her care – and not a learned degree
experience taught her how.
I always knew that I was loved
by deeds or hugs or smile.
She proved it in so many ways
'Twas special – Grandma style.
Sometimes she was my playmate
Oft' times my mentor too.
I learned to take life as it came;
that's helped my my life through.
Then I grew up and she grew old
yet our love had no end
For I was blessed long as she lived
'cause Grandma was my friend.

I can still hear her laughter and see that special twinkle in her eyes.
Gone but Never Forgotten. I love you Grandma!!

We Had A Wonderful
Grandmother
Grandmother
We had a wonderful grandmother,
One who never really grew old;
Her smile was made of sunshine,
And her heart was solid gold;
Her eyes were as bright as shining stars,
And in her cheeks fair roses you see.
We had a wonderful grandmother,
And that’s the way it will always be.
But take heed, because
She’s still keeping an eye on all of us,
So let’s make sure
She will like what she sees.

Grandpa
We’ll always remember
that special smile,
that caring heart,
that warm embrace,
you always gave us.
You being there
for Grandma and us
through good and bad times,
no matter what.
We’ll always remember
you Grandpa because
there’ll never be another one
to replace you in our hearts,
and the love we will always
have for you.

Such A Good Grandma
Grandma, your life was full of loving deeds,
forever thoughtful of our special needs.
Today and tomorrow, my whole life through,
I will always love and cherish you.
Oh the wonder in grandmother’s touch,
and sunshine in her smile.
There was love in everything she did
to make our lives worthwhile.
We found both hope and courage
just by looking in her eyes.
Her laughter was a source of joy,
her words warm and wise.
There was a kindness and compassion
found in her embrace,
And shining down from Heaven above
we see the glow of Grandma’s face.

Our Nanny
Such wonderful memories of Nanny
The Nanny we all used to know
We kept you too long and there waiting
The angels have said you can go
Bright golden gates that are shining
Full of family to bid you hello
So blow us a kiss as you’re leaving
Our sadness we’ll try not to show
Such wonderful memories of Nanny
We all have our favorites you see
As you enter those gates you’ll be thinking
They’re all there thinking of me!

Our Grandad
Our Grandad
Grandad,
We know you can no longer stay with us,
you fought long and hard to be with us.
We know you now watch over and protect us.
Although we cannot hear your voice or see your smiling face,
We know deep down in our hearts that you have not left us.
Instead every day you surround us with the singing of the birds,
the rising of the sun and the falling of night.
So many broken hearts are left behind,
But in our deepest despair our greatest comfort lies knowing
that you are now at peace with the angels and God.
So as times passes our tears will dry,
our hearts will mend,
but our love for you will never end.

Grandfather Kept a Garden
Our Grandfather kept a garden.
A garden of the heart;
He planted all the good things,
That gave our lives their start.
He turned us to the sunshine,
And encouraged us to dream:
Fostering and nurturing the seeds of self-esteem.
And then the winds and rain came,
He protected us enough;
But not too much because he knew
We would stand up strong and tough.
His constant good example,
Always taught us right from wrong;
Markers for our pathway that will last
a lifetime long.
We are our Grandfather’s garden,
We are his legacy.
Thank you Grandfather, we love you.

Nan's Special Smile(Modified)

Though her smile is gone from our presence
and her hands we cannot touch
We still have so many memories
Of the one we loved so much.
Her memory is now our keepsake
Which with we will never part.
God has her in his keeping
I have her in our hearts.
You are sadly missed
but never forgotten.

My Grandfather
My Grandfather was a man who had smiles to brighten your days,
who always made you feel good with his warm words of praise.
And what’s more he knew
what to do to make wishes come true.
He was my Grandfather.
My Grandfather was someone who always had good stories to tell,
but just as importantly he knew how to be a good listener as well.
He was patient and kind
and the very best friend you could ever hope to find.
He was no ordinary man.
And I’m proud to tell the world that
[his name] Was my Grandfather.

If Flowers Grow In Heaven

If flowers grow in heaven Lord,
then pick a bunch for me then
place them in my Grandma’s arms
and tell her they’re from me.
Tell her that I love and miss her
and when she turns to smile,
place a kiss upon her cheek and
hold her for awhile.

A Poem for Grandma
A Poem for Grandma
Grandma, you were just a girl, So many years ago.
You had your loves and had your dreams,
You watched us come and go.
You watched us make the same mistakes,
That you had made before,
But that just made you hold us tight,
And love us all the more.
We haven’t always thought about
The things that you have seen.
To us you’ve just been ‘Grandma’,
No thought of who you’ve been.
But we remember now in love,
Your life from start to end,
And we’re just glad we knew you,
As Grandma, and as Friend.

My Grandma
My Grandma
Grandma, you were so sweet;
Like honey from a bee.
You always told me stories
As I sat there on your knee.
You always made me giggle
When I saw your smiling face.
You made my world such a special,
Happy, friendly place.
